Daspletosaurus attacking a group of Chasmosaurus dinosaurs.

Daspletosaurus, an early Tyrnannosaur, attacking a group of Chasmosaurus dinosaurs. Daspletosaurus lived about 75 million years ago in the northern central US and Canada. It is an earlier relative of T. Rex and grew to 30 feet long. It likely preyed on local ceratopsians like the medium sized Chasmosaurus.
