One of the more popular deterrents for greenhouse whitefly infestations is the humble French Marigold, used as a companion plant to tomatoes and other greenhouse plants. Marigolds are said to release a chemical called limonene which allegedly deter whiteflies. However, these images are of whitefly feeding on the undersides of young French Marigold leaves, which would question the advice given by horticultural experts,
