The chief dimen-sions of this ship are : Length, 328 ft.; breadth, 60 ft.; meandraft, 25 ft.; displacement, 6,900 tons. Her engines are expectedto work up to 8,000 , and to give the ship a speed of 17knots with natural draft, and 19 knots with forced draft. The armor protection consists of a water-line belt, a centralbarbette covering the engines, and turret shields for the largeguns, with shield protection for the smaller ones.
