During the Vietnam War in April 1968, Navy Hospitalman First Class Richard E. Craig of Marine Aircraft Group-36 asks a village elder, with the help of a Vietnamese interpreter, about the condition of his foot. Craig was part of the MAG-36 Civic Action team that conducted a medical civic action program near the Phu Bai air base.
