The foregoing Report was unanimously accepted; and the Yote whichaccompanied it, together with the following By-Laws, was unanimouslyadopted by the .Society, at the Stated Meeting in May, 188S. VOL. Art. 1.—The device hitherto used by the Society, and herewithprinted, shall continue to be the seal of the Corporation, and maybe affixed to any instrument by an impression in ink or by a stamp;namely:—. Art. 2.—The Recording Secretary shall have the custody of theseal, which shall be kept in the Societys House. Chapter II. MEMBERS AND DUES. Art. 1.—The Resident Members of the Society shall be electedfrom among the residents of New England, and shall cease to bemembers whenever they cease to be residents thereof. Honoraryand Corresponding Members shall be elected from among non-resi-dents of New England, and Corresponding Members shall cease tobe members if at any time they become residents thereof. ResidentMembers only shall be eligible to office or be entitled to vote or totake part in the business of the Society. Art. 2.—A book shall be kept by the Recording Secretary, in theSocietys House, in which any member may enter the name of anyperson whom he may regard as suitable to be nominated as a Resi-dent, Corresponding, or Honorary Member.
