Floralis Generica, a giant sculpture of a flower is one of Buenos Aires major touristic attractions

Floralis Generica. This huge flower of stainless steel and aluminum was donated by the architect Eduardo Catalano to its city of born. Catalano has been living for more than 50 years in the United States. The flower is seat in the United Nations Square of Buenos Aires, on the avenue Figueroa Alcorta, in front of the National Museum of Arts and next to the College of Law. Floralis Generica has the particularitity of a mechanism that causes that it opened in the morning and closed at sunset. Fortunately, I could take several photos while it was closing.
