So along the middle of the summer we finished this one for him. 40 feet wide and 133 feet 4 inches long. You will notice that the compression trussing hangs unusually low. This was done to bring them down far enough to form the right height supports for the overhead cucumber wiring. The entire absence of columns is a fea- ture some growers feel to be a grnat advantage. Others don't mind columns and claim they are an advantage. As far as strength and durability is concerned, one method of framing is as strong as the other, frain« of doing business.
