Forty-three Sailors at Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) earned certificates of completion for Navy Enlisted Classifications. The NAMTS program provides Sailors in Electrician’s Mate (EM), Engineman (EN), Gas Turbine System Technician (Machanical) (GSM), Hull Maintenance Technician (HT) and Machinist’s Mate (MM) ratings with the knowledge and proficiency to perform essential fleet maintenance and repairs while underway which often would normally have required the ship to return to port.
