Copenhagen, Denmark, 13th Sept. 2013. Finishing touch to the 20m tall minaret on the nearly finished Grand Mosque in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, the first minaret ever raised on a Danish mosque. The minaret is in douce colours and its design fits into the surrounding neighbourhood. The 6,800 square metres mosque is largely financed by Qatar and will also host many social and cultural activities. The building has recently been debated in the media as it will also contain a TV studio which might conceivably be let to the TV stations Al-Jazeera, Al-Houda, and Al-Aqsa TV.
