The spot-billed pelican is a medium-sized pelican native to southern Asia. It is known for its pale plumage, gray crown and hindneck, and spotted bill. Spot-billed pelicans are social birds and live in flocks of up to several hundred individuals. They are skilled fishermen and can catch fish up to 4 feet long.
