Domed mausoleum in Roman villa of Centcelles
The Roman Villa of Centcelles in the village of Constantí 10 Kms from Tarragona was constructed in the 4th Century AD and has a domed mausoleum with some of the oldest known Christian themed mosaics in the Roman world The images depict scenes from both the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible It is thought that the mausoleum was constructed as a tomb for Constante the First son of the Emperor Constantine the Great
