NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI, Japan (April 29, 2017) Lt. Sophia Recca, from Colorado Springs, Colo., a pilot assigned to the Golden Falcons of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, poses for a photo with a visitor during the 2017 Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi Spring Fest. The open base festival draws crowds in excess of 65,000 visitors each year. NAF Atsugi has hosted open base community friendship events for nearly 30 years as a means to build closer ties and understanding to the communities around the base and all over Japan.
