Torre de la Vidua de Sala in Malgrat de Mar
This tower is part of a group of houses that were built in the town during the first years of the twentieth century for the most affluent people of the Malgratean society or for Barcelona vacationers who spent seasons in Malgrat de Mar. The widow's tower of Can Sala was built on behalf of Josefa Garriga Anglada in 1909. At the same time, he bought the farm next door that became a knit mill, later at the Bombay Hotel and which is currently the Malgrat Municipal Archive
