A cased pair of French percussion pistols, Dangeunger, Bethune circa 1860. Octagonal, multiply rifled Damascus barrels in 12 mm calibre with patent breechblocks and dovetailed sights. Florally engraved percussion locks, each with signed lockplate "Danguenger a Bethune" (one cock does not engage). Smooth walnut butts with iron furnitures engraved en suite. Length cm each. In a felt-lined walnut case, the lid reinforced with brass, and with extensive, complete accessories. The key is missing. Dimensions 48 x x 8 cm.
