It was recently found ou the Coppet hill, near C4oodrich,where other Roman remains have from time to time beendiscovered. It was placed in the Temporary Museum of the Royal Archaeological Institute at Hereford, at the Congi-essheld there in August, 1877, and was, in November of the sameyear, exhibited at the rooms of theInstitute in London, together withthe fragment of another examplefrom the collection of Mr. Franksof the British Museum, (fig. 9),(Aicltceolofjical Journal, xxxv., j>.87.)
