Regan, who is in charge of the nursery stock inspection work in Mas- sachusetts, recently told the New England Nurserymen's Association that eighteen new pests have been received on imported stock so far this season. J. Johannes, who formerly ran green- houses at Rockford, 111., but who has been spending the winter at Paris, 111., has returned to Rockford to execute the landscape work at the new Dr. James Sanitarium on Corey's Bluff. QUALIFIED IN WYOMING. The law in Wyoming permits no nursery to ship stock into the state un- less it holds the license of the state board of horticulture, such license not being obtainable until the nursery has filed a bond and a sworn copy of its certificate of inspection.
