'Union of South Africa' is an A4 streamlined locomotive designed by Sir Nigel Gresley for the LNER railway company. It is a sister engine of 'Mallard', the most famous A4 that holds the world speed record for a stream engine. It is seen here with a train on the East Lancashire (heritage) Railway.
