A general view of The Gran Paradiso National Park, the oldest Italian National Park located close to the regions of Valle d'Aosta and Piedmont. It is managed by the Gran Paradiso National Park Authority based in Turin. On the French side, it borders the Vanoise National Park. It covers an area of 71, hectares, on a predominantly mountainous terrain.
