THE ROYAL NAVY DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR - A Chinese Military Mission boarding HMSM H 50 at sea during a visit to the Royal Navy at Portsmouth. Whilst at Portsmouth, the Mission, led by General Yang Chieh (former ambassador to the USSR and founder of the Chinese staff college) saw many different types of warship, including an MTB and a submarine. He also lunched with Admiral Sir Charles J C Little, GBE, KCB, Commander in Chief Portsmouth aboard HMS VICTORY Royal Navy, HMS H51, Submarine, (1918)
