Somerset, England. Circa 1910. An antique postcard entitled “Interior of Grand Pump Room, Bath”. The Grand Pump Room is a historic building in the Abbey Churchyard, Bath and is adjacent to the Roman Baths. The building depicted was designed by John Harvey at the request of Beau Nash, Bath's master of ceremonies and replaced an earlier building on the same site. It gained its name as Baths' hot springs were pumped into the room.
