I killed three ducks on this lakebefore we left. The weather after the snow-storm was grand. In fact it was a little toowarm. We crossed and fished Shoal, Delland Jack Creeks and caught some beauti-ful trout in all three streams, some as largeas two and a half pounds. The day following our arrival at Cow lope steak for dinner, which we heartily en-joyed. The next day was cold and raw with alight snow falling when we started out. Ihad very good sport, having several run-ning shots and finally succeeded in bring-ing down a good average buck. Andrewalso killed today, while Joe came homeempty handed again. The next day Ikilled my second buck—on the run—and itwas a beauty! Just such a head as Andrewsfirst one. We saw several hundred head. irnsTERX riELD
