A protest against the COVID-19 Coronavirus lockdown measures was announced to take place in the Essex county town of Chelmsford, a town which is included in the rise to tier 2 'high' alert level which has brought in greater restrictions. In preparation a large police presence was maintained in the park but was not required, as only a small contingent arrived. The park is displaying its Autumn colours
