All things considered probably the best early Raspberry for the North. Shaffer's Colossal—Colossal both in bush and berry; carries to market well; excellent to dry and is unsurpassed for canning; berry a dark crimson in color and excellent in quality; a very valuable variety; does not sucker, but roots from the tips like black SUl^ERLATIVE RASPBERRY.
