1st Frack 'In 2016'_ Britain could make its "first frack" in summer 2016 if officials agree to the back the technology. Up to 2,000 people were expected to gather at the Town Hall in Preston, Lancs, to protest against plans to drill four wells at new nearby sites. If approved drilling could begin later this year with fracking for Shale Gas starting in mid-2016.
