Report from British Columbia wasread by Mr. Frankland, assistant secre-tary. Mr. Orr prepared the report, beingunable to be present. The report is asfollows:— I sincerely regret my inability to at-tend the annual convention to be held atCalgary, but as Provincial vice-presidentof British Columbia, I wish to report tothe convention the progress we havemade in Vancouver towards organizingour master plumbers. British Columbia is a young Province,and is growing so rapidly that the men inour line are all very busy, and thoughfeeling the need of an association, couldnot spare the time from their business,to devote to organizing a society. For-tunately we obtained the services fMr. J. 0. Sawkens, a former masterplumber, and an advocate of organiza-tion. He interviewed some of the lead-16 ing master plumbers of our city and in-terested them in a scheme of organiza-tion,
