He was chief draughtsman andchief engineer with Post & McCord, Brook-lyn, N. Y., 1876-1900; and engineer andlater manager of the Brooklyn plant of theAmerican Bridge Co., 1900-02, the natureof his work since 1876 being mainly the de-signing and construction of bridges, roofs,and structural iron and steel work of variouskinds, principally that of large fireproof THE ALUMNI 527 buildings. In 1902 Mr. Post commenced prac-tice as a consulting structural engineer. Heis a member of the Theta Xi Post is the son of Simeon S. and. Parthenia W. Post. He married JwlianaMacBride, April 13, 1887, and they have twochildren, Ronald Willis and Henry WillisPost, Jr. Post, Lionel (, 99), was born inSouth Amboy, N. J., July 5, 1875; son ofRichard Bayley and Eliza Deane Post. Piewas with the Edison Electric IlluminatingCo., New York, 1899; superintendent of con-struction with the Ransome Concrete Co.,New York, 1899-1901; superintendent ofconstruction with the Cuba Supply Co., Ha-vana, Cuba, 1901; in brokerage business,1902; superintendent of the Natural CarbonicGas Co., engaged in erecting plant at Sarato-ga Springs, N. Y., 1902; in the sales depart-ment of the Alphons Custodis ChimneyConstruction Co., 1903 ; and is now associatedwith Messrs. Bellman & Sanford, generalconstructors of power-plants, New York.
