A Marine assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa ground combat element provides security after a weapons cache and potential improvised explosive device is located during a weeklong field exercise at Sierra Del Retin, Spain, Aug. 9, 2017. The field exercise consisted of multiple scenarios involving opposing enemy ambushes, potential IED locations, and key leader engagements.
