"End of the Day", an English shepherd and flock on a farm track by George Faulkner Wetherbee (1851–1920), an American painter who lived most of his life in England after living in various countries on the continent of Europe. He achieved success in his 40s, with recognition by the distinguished London art societies, and his mastery of colour and light were highly acclaimed. He made several commercial rural scenes in the 1890s, immediately after his success.
