A house in south London once lived in by Dan Leno the music hall entertainer.

Dan Leno was born as George Wild Galvin in 1860 at Somers Town in north London. His parents were both music hall entertainers and he first appeared on the stage at the age of 4. He went on to become the most popular music hall act with his own shows and playing the Dame in pantomimes. He died aged 43, probably from a brain tumour, and is buried in Lambeth Cemetery.
