In somecomplex multilocular dermoids some of the loculi containmucous membrane and are filled with mucus ; others pos-sess hairs; and a few may be quite barren. It is impossible to determine in many cases, from a merenaked-eye examination, whether an oophoronic tumorshould be regarded as an adenoma or a dermoid.
