I herewith submit a reportof the City Solicitor, to the present time. Since my last report the cases in which the city isinterested hare been very materially diminished. At thecommencement of my first official year, there were twentyone litigate cases upon the dockets of the Courts: at thebeginning of the second there were nine: at the presenttime there are eight, six of which were commenced thepast year — three in behalf, and three against, the city.
