A Roman putto seated in riding position, 1st - 2nd century Cast bronze complemented by cold-working. The boy was probably originally riding a dolphin, the left arm raised, wearing around his neck a fruit garland, the head crowned with a leaf wreath, the finely modelled head with pierced eyes turned slightly to the left. Fine, dark green patina, the right foot and left hand missing, the wings slightly damaged. Height cm. A well-crafted small bronze figure of Roman origin.
