Edward Cartossa, command and control (C2) operations specialist assigned to the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, sits in the AUAB C2 office in the Wing Operation Center to talk about his mission, during Accurate Test 22 at Thumrait Air Base, Oman, June 4, 2022. Cartossa’s C2 operations team employed missile strike early warning capabilities, for the first time, in a combat environment while forward deployed to Oman in May 2022.
