The Corner Project is a non-profit, community-oriented, educational development center in Malinalco, State of Mexico, Mexico. Due to changes in the local and national economies, much of the projects current work focuses on problems encountered by families with members who have migrated to the United States. Jennifer Amilpa Echeverria, 13, has had to adjust to life in Mexico and Malinalco after she returned here with her family from Culpepper, Virginia in November 2008. She stays in touch with friends back in the US via her MySpace page from a local cibercafe.
