DAKAR, Senegal (Aug. 21, 2013) Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus meets with Senegalese Chief of the Armed Forces Brigadier Gen. Mamadou Sow. Senegal is the last stop on a trip where Mabus visited several countries throughout the region to meet with Sailors and Marines, and civilian and military officials to discuss security and stability and to reinforce existing partnerships with African nations.
