Mission Accomplished. Senior Airman Paul DeJesus, a crew chief with the 305th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS), McGuire Air Force Base, NJ marshals in a C-141B Starlifter. The C-141B was on its final medivac flight with crewmembers from the 6th Airlift Squadron and 732nd AS. The Starlifter is being retired from the "active duty" Air Force inventory on September 16, 2004 after 40 years of service and nearly nine million flying hours. The C-141 force has a proven reliability and long-range capability in worldwide airlift and combat support missions, in addition to humanitarian crises. This photo was taken on September 1, 2004.
