The image is of the grave of Robert Burns parents whom are interred at the Auld Kirk [old church] in Alloway. Robert Burns being the famous Scottish poet and author of such songs poems of Auld Lang Syne, Red. Red, Rose, Tam O Shanter with the Brig O Moon, Burns was born in Alloway in 1759 and died in 1796 aged 37 probably of rheumatic heart failure. He is buried in Dumfries.
