Mr. Beld-ings explorershould not he persistsin pursuingthe rockyway, he willbe amply re-warded for hisclimb, as thepath leadshim to thesummit of HotSprings moun-tain, with its. 62 picturesque walks, grand views, beetlingcliffs and magnificent forest. The walkalong the crest of the mountain to anddown the Grand Boulevard to the Gov-ernment hospital, is one of the greatestattractions at the Springs, and should not be over-looked by anyone. Happy Hollow is the lairof the Hot Springs burro, alarge drove of these inter-esting little brutesbeing kept on handfor the use of pleas-ure parties. On theirbacks the intricacies of the upper glens may be readily ex-plored, and, while one does not presenta very imposing appearance mountedupon the diminutive animals, they are asource of constant enjoyment, not to sayof uproarioushilarity. The photog-rapher of HappyHollow reaps arich harvest fromthese donkeyparties, who sendthousands of pic-tures of theirmounts to thefolks at Jiome.
