BRONZE CELTS. From the Isle of Harty, Mr. Evans, of Hemel-Hempstcad,has obtained the stock in trade of a founder of the ])ronzcperiod.^ This includes bronze socket Celts, moulds for makingthem, and lumps of the metal from which they were made. Allliallows, in the Hundred of Hoo, has lately yielded sundrybronze tools and weapons, which have come into the possessionof Mr. Humphry Wickliam, of Strood. They were found in anearthen pot, two feet below the surface, by workmen Avhowere digging a drain-trench. There were lumps of pure copperin the pot, with the bronze implements.
