Cormorant sculptures on the sea front in Morecambe, UK
Morecambe on Lancashire's coast was a faded Victorian seaside resort in terminal decline. In recent years the area has seen regeneration driven by Lancaster City Councils, Tern Project, with a view to reinventing Morecambe as a desirable destination. Many of the exciting art projects are themed with birds, especially waders, to reflect Morecambe Bays international importance for migrating waders.
