INDIAN OCEAN (March 27, 2018) A Sailor, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 1, holds onto a rescue hoist during a training exercise. EODMU 1 is embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), currently underway for a regularly scheduled deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
