The Century illustrated monthly magazine . quite warm and yellowish in tone, but from afew feet and as a whole, their juxtaposition to the richgarnet and yellow robe of Joseph, and the brilliant ver-milion of the dress of the Child, renders them of acool and bluish cast, and the difference is surprising.
