Barapasaurus dinosaur. Computer illustration of a Barapasaurus sp. dinosaur. This herbivorous sauropod lived during the Sinemurian and Pliensbachian stages of the Early Jurassic Period (around 200 to 175 million years ago), in what is now India. It is one of the earliest known sauropods and reached around 14 metres long.
