The following list has been selected with care and contains a fine assortment of plants that make valuable permanent beds. ASTERS. (MICHAELMAS DAISIES.) Showy free bloom- ing hardy plants, com- mencingto flower early in the season and con- tinuing until killed by frost. Grandiflora. Flowers extra large, purple. Plant grows 2 to 3 feet high. Laevis. A splendid light blue variety, blooms very early. Lady Trevelyan. A fine pure white flower extra strong grower. Novae Angliae. Large bluish purple, wii yellow eye. Novae Angliae Rosea. Bright rose-colored flowers; a very dis- tinct variety. J5c each; 4 for 50c,. 6* ANEMONE JAPONICA. ANEMONE JAPONICA. There is nothing more beautiful in the entire list of hardy plants. They commence to bloom in Au- gust and increase in beauty until frost. Alba. Flowers of the purest white, with yellow cen- ter. Rubra. Showy rose-colored flowers, with distinct yellow center. Double White Whirlwind. Excellent double white flowers, 2l/2 to 3 inches across, held up on stems 10 to 12 inches long. Very desirable for cut- flowers. J 5c, each; the three for 30c. ANTHEMIS TINCTORIA. (GULDEN MARGUERITE.) One of the best yellow-flowered perennials. It is a continuous bloomer the entire summer, withstand- ing both wet and dry weather. The flowers are of the exact form of a daisy, but clear yellow. 10c. ASCLEPIAS TUBEROSA. A beautiful hardy native plant.
