There is no need to rush by the grandest scenery inAmerica. At Yellowstone I^ake and at the Grand Canon one ortwo days can be sjjent with profit and jjleasure. Eight days for thebicycle trip means that it can be made leisurely, without discom-fort and with time for stop-overs at the great scenic points. Thecircuit of the park divides itself into convenient and easy for meals and lodging occur opportunely at the end ofmorning or afternoon RIVERSIDE GEYSER Here are a few suggestions fromone whohasmade the tripawheel. Carry as little baggage as possible. Check your trunk or gripat the park entrance. A hold-all or bundle carrier, strapped to the handle bars,will contain everything needed. An ordinary bicycle is recommended. An army or other flannelshirt is a good thing to ride in, and a sweater is desirable to puton when off the wheel. Light-weight woolen is the best kind ofimderwear. A rublier cape to protect the shoulders and upperpart of the body from rain should be included. Heavy shoes arebetter than light bicycle shoes, and a soft hat with a brim that canbe i)ulled down over the eyes is better than a cap. An ordinary repair kit shovikl be taken along, although mostwheelmen go through the park without a mishap , one should bejirovided with ordinary tools and equiimient for repairing shops will be found at two or three points in the park.
