The statue of Queen Elizabeth 1st is above the door of the church of St-Dunstans-In-The-West in Fleet Street, London, England


This Statue of Elizabeth 1, Queen of England has the date 1586 engraved on its base. It was originally on the Ludgate ( one of the ancient gates to the City of London) which was demolished as it hindered traffic. The statue has been in its present position since 1839. Elizabeth reigned from 1558 until her death, still unmarried in 1663.
