The purpose of the visit and tour was to provide the MCI-East commander with a better understanding of MARSOC, its capabilities, employment and training facilities to strengthen command relationships between MARSOC and MCI-East. The introductory visit included a strategic engagement with MARSOC leadership discussing the compound's facilities then progressed into a tour including the Marine Raider Training Center, MARSOC training tank and paraloft.
