As yougaze from that turn above Ne win ill,at the old Cathedral towers crowning the river bank, rising fromamong what appears a goodly wood of forest trees, with the towersand spires of the burgh churches behind—confess, that no one canlook on that landscape unmoved, even setting aside all the associationswhich crowd upon us. I fancy that is the view that oftenest rises tothe mind of the Moray loon in his log hut or dark shanty faraway in the backwoods when he shuts his eyes and presses hishands upon them and dreams himself back to the school holiday.
