DIEGO (Feb. 22, 2019) - Cmdr. Kenneth Douglas, senior deputy at Submarine Squadron 11, presents Capt. Michael Eberlein, commanding officer of Undersea Rescue Command (URC), the Meritorious Service Medal at a change of command ceremony held at Naval Air Station North Island. URC is the Navy’s only submarine rescue capability, ready to deploy around the world in the event of a submarine emergency.
