common oil rail of a diesel engine. on this type of fuel system the injectors are electronically controlled and operated by high pressure engine oil. seen here are the oil supply pipe, oil rail pressure sensor and temperature sensor. also clearly visible are the four flanges with oil supply hole to bolt on the injectors.
